We’re seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join our litigation team and take ownership of a diverse caseload including motor vehicle accidents, premises liability claims, and workers’ compensation cases. This is not a document review position—you’ll be in the courtroom, meeting with clients, conducting depositions, and trying cases from day one.
Full-Cycle Case Management: Handle personal injury and workers’ compensation files from initial client consultation through settlement negotiations or trial verdict. You’ll control your cases with the autonomy to make strategic decisions while having the support of our senior partner when needed.
Courtroom Advocacy: Litigate motor vehicle accident cases, premises liability claims, and workers’ compensation matters in South Carolina courts. Prepare and argue motions, conduct depositions, negotiate with insurance carriers, and try cases before judges and juries.
Client Representation: Build relationships with injured clients throughout the Lowcountry, providing compassionate counsel during difficult times while aggressively pursuing maximum compensation for their injuries and losses.
Legal Writing and Motion Practice: Draft compelling pleadings, discovery requests and responses, motions, briefs, and settlement demands that advance client interests and demonstrate your command of South Carolina civil procedure and personal injury law.
Collaborative Practice: Work independently on your caseload while collaborating with our senior partner on complex matters, high-value cases, and trial strategy. Benefit from mentorship and guidance while exercising professional independence.
