Opening Ceremony: A Spectacular Kickoff
The festival kicks off with a bang on July 12 at Waterfront Park, with gates opening at 6 pm. The opening ceremony, starting at 7 pm, features a mesmerizing performance by the Parris Island Marine Band, setting the stage for a night of musical enchantment.
The sky will then light up with a dazzling fireworks display, marking the beginning of ten days of festivities. This is a free event, perfect for families looking to start their festival experience on a high note.
Thrilling Competitions and Family Fun
The action heats up on July 13 with exciting events at the Waterfront Park. From 8:30 am to noon, witness the thrilling Raft Race as teams paddle furiously to claim victory. There will be a Bocce Tournament and a Badminton Tournament.
From 10 am to noon, young anglers can try their luck in the Children’s Toad Fishing Tournament, a free event that promises fun and prizes for kids aged 12 and under.
From 11 am – 3 pm, kids can enjoy games, activities, shows, and bounce houses for free.

On July 15, get your groove on with Motown Monday for $15. Gates open at 7 pm and the show begins at 8 pm. July 16 is your chance to unwind during Island Time Tuesday for $5.
Then, on July 19, don’t miss ROCKIN’ the RIVER. Gates open at 7 pm, and the show kicks off at 8 pm. For just $20, experience an unforgettable night of rock and roll under the stars.
